The Push-up Push Workout

I started doing yoga a few weeks back after I hurt my back badly and was unable to do any other kind of exercise, and it’s really helped with my stiffness, but also given me some new strength I was unaware of until last night. Last night, I did my first perfect push-up – with ease! And today I stumbled onto an article called “The Push-up Push Workout”.

It’s a 14 day challenge where you do 200 push-ups everyday for 10 days, then take a break for three days before setting a timer for one minute and doing as many push-ups as you can. Supposedly this workout method will greatly improve your upper body strength and the amount of push-ups you can do in these two weeks. Well, we’ll see in two weeks!

I’m giving the push-up workout a try from today and combining it with the yoga I’m already doing. I’m surprised I would grow to like yoga, but after all yoga taught me to do this.
